Diagnosis is usually made by identification of the fungi from clinical specimens Biopsies of skin lesions, lymph nodes, and bone marrow demonstrate the presence of organisms on histopathology~The most common symptoms are fever, skin lesions, anemia, generalized lymphadenopathy, and hepatomegaly~
